How can electrified, temperature-controlled intermodal logistics become a reality in real-world transport chains?
Join the ALICE TG1 webinar “How to bring electrified, temperature-controlled, intermodal logistics in practice” on 9 September 2026, from 13:00 to 14:15 CET, to explore practical solutions and lessons learned from industry and research.
The webinar will discuss how electrified, temperature-controlled rail-road logistics can be implemented in real transport chains, covering topics such as energy solutions for e-reefers and e-trailers, infrastructure, operational planning, and regulatory challenges.
ZEFES Use Case: Murcia–Bettembourg
The ZEFES project will present its electrified, temperature-controlled intermodal use case between Murcia, Spain, and Bettembourg, Luxembourg, sharing key experiences and lessons learned from the deployment.
Together with H.Essers, which will present its electrified intermodal operation between Genk, Belgium, and Oradea, Romania, the webinar will showcase different approaches to electrifying refrigerated intermodal logistics and highlight key enablers and remaining barriers to scaling zero-emission freight transport.
