ZEFES to showcase its work at Connecting Europe Days 2026

ZEFES will be present at Connecting Europe Days 2026, taking place from 28 September to 1 October 2026 in Brussels, Belgium. Together with the AEVETO cluster, ZEFES will host a dedicated booth, creating an opportunity to showcase project results, exchange knowledge and engage with stakeholders from across the European transport sector.

AEVETO (Advanced Electric Vehicles for Efficient and Economic Transport Operations) brings together European R&D projects working towards the development and deployment of zero-emission heavy-duty vehicles. The cluster creates synergies between projects focusing on battery electric and fuel cell electric vehicles, contributing to the wider European roadmap for the electrification of heavy-duty transport. The cluster includes ZEFES, ESCALATE, EMPOWER, NextETRUCK, H2HAUL, BELOGIC, RealHyFC, MACBETH and FLEXMCS.

Connecting Europe Days is the European Commission’s flagship mobility event, bringing together policymakers, industry representatives, financial institutions and transport stakeholders to discuss the future of Europe’s transport system.

ZEFES also takes the stage

In addition to the joint ZEFES–AEVETO booth, Stefanie van Damme (ALICE) has been invited to participate as a panellist at Connecting Europe Days 2026. Stefanie will draw on ZEFES resources and project results in preparing for the panel, bringing the project’s insights into the wider European discussion on the transition towards zero-emission transport.

Through its presence both at the booth and on stage, ZEFES will contribute to the exchange of knowledge and ideas shaping the future of sustainable and zero-emission transport in Europe.
