ABB E-mobility BV

Organisation Introduction

ABB E-mobility is enabling zero-emission mobility as a global leader in electric vehicle (EV) charging solutions for a more sustainable and resource-efficient future. We are a partner of choice for the world’s biggest EV OEMs and nationwide EV charging network operators, offering the widest portfolio of EV charging solutions from smart chargers for the home to high-power chargers for the highway stations of the future, solutions for the electrification of fleets and charging for electric buses and trucks. With ~1,500 employees around the world, ABB E-mobility has sold more than one million EV chargers across more than 85 markets, including over 50,000 DC fast chargers.

ABB E-mobility Sp.z.o.o. is the ABB E-mobility legal entity in Poland, and a major R&D site, contributing to hardware and software development of our current and next generation products.

ABB E-mobility believes the future of road transport, including long distance, is electric. ZEFES allows us to develop and test our future Megawatt Charging Systems in real-world use cases, together with highly relevant vehicle manufacturers and end users as well as top-tier academic partners, in a strong technical and scientific framework.

What in ZEFES?

We will gather requirements from our partners for, develop, commission and service a mobile, compact Megawatt Charging System demonstrator for use in multiple locations and use cases within the ZEFES project. This demonstrator will allow us to develop our Megawatt Charging System to a performant and reliable product that matches the needs of our future customers and of future end users, within a comprehensive and efficient long-distance battery electric road transport ecosystem.
