Why ZEFES?
Carburos Metálicos (AP) aims to drive decarbonization of heavy transportation and industrial sectors. Zero-emission hydrogen fuel cell vehicles can decarbonize heavy modes of transport, like buses, trucks, and more. And those are also the objectives that ZEFES project is addressing, is for that reason that we join the consortium.
And in addition, our participation in ZEFES will allow us to work and learn together with many companies, institutions and industry players who share our concerns and objectives of decarbonization in the heavy transportation.
What in ZEFES?
Carburos Metálicos (AP) will define the requirements for the hydrogen fuel supply and charging stations for some specific corridors. Carburos will identify the best fueling locations, based on the different routes, and will provide the Hydrogen Refueling Systems (HRS) and the hydrogen for refueling the Heavy-Duty Vehicles (HDV) during the specific use cases.
“The ZEFES project helps us to continue pursuing our goal to drive decarbonization of heavy transportation and to define the needs and characteristics of the Hydrogen Refueling Systems (HRS) along the transportation route with a real demonstration across Europe.”
