For these reasons, the participation of IDIADA in the ZEFES project is an extension of our vision, as it will provide the environment required to develop new techniques and processes related to the use of Fuel Cells and Batteries in the Heavy-Duty sector. The close collaboration with OEMs, equipment manufacturers and logistic providers will ensure the development of effective and impactful techniques.

IDIADA will lead the development of models for modular and flexible powertrain systems, involving Fuel Cells and Batteries, using the vehicles of the different use cases as models. IDIADA will also determine the legal and administrative requirements to execute the use cases in the different countries. IDIADA will also lead the conformance testing of the Megawatt Charging Stations. IDIADA will also lead the adaptation and implementation of powertrain components for next generation battery electric trucks/tractors. IDIADA will also coordinate the deployment of the vehicles involved in the use cases.
