From 10 to 12 February 2026, ZEFES participated in the RTR Conference 2026 in Brussels, joining over 500 participants to explore the latest innovations in zero-emission road transport.
The ZEFES project proudly showcased its work at the AEVETO cluster booth, alongside cluster partners ESCALATE, EMPOWER, NextETRUCK, H2HAUL, RealHyFC, MACBETH, and FLEXMCS.
Project coordinator Omar Hegazy and Ashleigh Hruz from the Vrije Universiteit Brussel represented the consortium, engaging with the community on the future of sustainable freight and clean logistics solutions.
The conference provided a unique platform to highlight EU-funded and Horizon Europe projects focused on green vehicles, urban mobility, intelligent transport systems (ITS), safety, automation, and advanced battery technologies. Attendees had the opportunity to meet project teams, discuss emerging trends, and explore collaborative opportunities in the transition to zero-emission transport.
